Most commonly asked client questions during a consult
Q: “Does it hurt” A: While everyone has different tolerances, it is more of a ‘discomfort’ once the area has been shaded over a couple of times rather than a pain.
Q: “Can I use numbing cream?” A: Yes. you will have to purchase from a chemist. Further details will be sent once you book your appointment.
Q: “How long will it take?” A: You will be in and out in under 2 hours!
Q: “I want my eyebrows to look natural and suit me, how can that be achieved?” A: There is a special marking/ratio that can be applied to every persons face that works with the individuals features, this is how your shape is achieved and will be uniquely yours.
Q: “Can you or do you over line the lips?” A: No. Though lip blush is mapped right to the borders of your lips it is not recommended to over line as your face skin and lip skin are different the pigment will not age the same or look desirable long term if over lined.
Q: “I don’t want black eyebrows” A: There are a few factors considered when your brow colour pigment is selected and that is; Your natural brow hair colour, your Fitzpatrick level and skin undertones. Don’t worry they won’t be black.
Q; “I want my lip blush to look natural” A: All of my pigments have a natural finish and if needed can be intensified slightly if needed. Lip blush will heal to be a natural finish and is not meant to replace lipstick. The goal of lip blushing is to achieve a nice all over wash of even colour and to define the lips. Lip blushing can also help with asymmetry.
Q: “What is the downtime?” A: Lips will be healed within 3 to 5 days, they will be swollen immediately after your appointment which has usually settled within several hours. Colour will be most bold that day and night as well. You can expect it to look like you are wearing lipstick during this time and you may feel you want to apply a little extra make up on your face because of that. Brows are healed within 7 to 10 days and they also look the most bold in the first few days.
